Default Just Purchased a LM4 for my 300zx

I decided to get an aluminum block 5.3 for my turbo 300zx build. I've been searching for the wiring diagrams for a 2004 LM4 and I believe I found the correct ones, here https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...rams-here.html can anyone confirm that these will be correct for a 2004 Trailblazer LM4?

Also I plan on buying a T56 with f-body gear ratios, my question is what bell housing should I use for the LM4 and what Slave cylinder should I use?
If I'm not mistaken any lsX t56 bell housing should work with my motor but my slave cylinder needs to be matched to the bell housing.

Thanks for any advice, I'm happy to finally be able to join the LS community!

How do you plan on fitting the T56/LS motor? Do you plan on cutting the firewall or do you plan on cutting the hood/cross member? Either way you need to cut one. My LS1/T56 is almost done. All fabrication has been done and the car just got dropped off this past weekend from paint back at LS1 Excitement (specialized in LS swaps). I have a LS1 with a GM muscle car LS oil pan kit, LS2 bellhousing, GTO shifter (reversed) and had to notch the cross braces on the underside of the hood for the throttle body and drop the cross member by 1 inch.

The LM4 5.3L has the same pattern as the LS1. And you can use the LS1 clutch, flywheel, and slave.

Go to alldataDIY and you can get the diagrams for your specific donor for cheap.

I plan on cutting the front cross member, I actually got the idea from your swap a few weeks ago! I may "massage" the firewall as their is 1/2" to be gained without moving anything on the other side. That way I gain 1/2" of motor behind the front wheels for better handling. I think I'm also going to need a ls1 intake manifold, crank pulley, and alternator bracket.
thanks for the info Bo158!

I pretty much have any wiring diargrams you may need. Send me a PM with email and I will send you schematics. I have 01 silverado 6.0, 03-04 sivlerado 5.3, 06 gto, and 02 camaro. Any of these should help.

I'm doing a similar swap right now. I have a LQ9 block that's built with mostly LS3 parts(heads, intake, injectors, etc.). I've got a flipped set of CTS-V manifolds that are feeding a custom 78mm precision turbo. If you want to compare notes on things let me know. I'm about 75% done with mine. Also, if you need a LS1 intake and crank pulley, I've got both(and a lot of other parts).

Dude! Yes! Here's a list of things I need.
1. Shorter Intake manifold (ls1, ls2, FAST, BBK... If my TB has a different bolt pattern I will make it fit)
2. F-body/gto Underdrive crank pully
3. F-body/gto waterpump
4. Ls1 fuel rail & injectors

I can send payment via paypal next Friday for anything, I don't want to paypal anything else this week until the engine is on its way. They said it should ship out Monday.

Also vettewreck, did you more the steering rack back up, or just lower everything by an inch?

On the steering shaft, we lowered it down, flipped the knuckle and all is good with plenty of spline left on the shaft. Also, im 99% sure a LS2 intake wont fit unless you drop the motor even lower than it already is or cutting the hood up more. At least with mine, we tried and it didnt clear.

If you need any deals on the aftermarket stuff such as FAST or BBK TB/Intake let me know. I'll give you great prices to get that project underway. Good luck! Sounds awesome!
