Default 1997 C5 Corvette with 30,600 miles!

Year: 1997
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $13900
Mileage: 30600
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): KS
Color: White
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Hey guys,

I'm selling my beautiful 1997 C5. A few highlights:

-Runs and drives perfectly and has just over 30,600 miles
-Automatic transmission
-Factory Bose sound system with CD (sounds great)
-Black leather interior in near-perfect condition
-Very good rubber (probably 85% all around - Goodyear Eagle F1s in the rear)
-Power seats, windows, and locks all work perfectly
-Removable glass top with no leaks
-All stock other than the air intake
-Drilled / slotted brake rotors
-Oil changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic

It does have a rebuilt title due to front end damage. However, it needed no frame repair and all of the work was done with bolt-on parts by the previous owner, a Corvette club member. The panel fit / paint is perfect, it's an absolute joy to drive, and I haven't had a single issue with it. In fact, it drives exactly as a 30,000 mile car should.

$13,900. I'm firm on the price. It's been a lovely car to own and I don't see any reason to let it go for less than it's worth. It's immaculate and it won't disappoint.

I'm located in Lawrence, KS and I can be reached day or night at (785)342-3080. My email is mattjj.1989@gmail.com. More pictures available upon request...though it needs to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated

Thanks for looking.

Thanks man. I've already received a few calls on it. I know the title scares people off, but it's a great car all the same. That's why I urge local buyers to take a few minutes and see it in person.

Plus, it was only cosmetic damage. Insurance companies issue salvage titles haphazardly - my CBR 600 was pushed over in a parking lot and State Farm totaled it out (there was a crack on the rear cowl and one of the blinkers was broken). It was bizarre.

Is there a bank that will loan on a rebuilt title car? Or is someone going to have to have 13k in cash?

not sure on the banks doing that. i dont think they will. id love to pick this thing up and put 3k into a simple sts turbo system and be done wit it. just roll around in a nice clean easy driveing auto vette. its got that longer gear in her too(273)? man when your rollin at 30 and nail it....that turbo will whined up forever...lol. good luck on a sweet lookin car. but a 97....and salvaged? most people just dont trust ya know? no matter if its a scratch or a collision. people just dont move on them. sad i know. but theres way too many scammers out there, and there good at what they do...lol. i would buy it if i never planned on selling.wich means id have to buy it right.

for those interested and need a loan, try a credit union from my experience the smaller the better, sometimes you can talk them into loaning for anything. I got a small loan on my rebuilt title vette last year

Definitely a clean car. Wish i could afford a 2nd toy. Credit unions have tightened up on loans lately though. Most wont give loans on vehicles with rebuilt or salvage titles.Good luck with the sale though.

Just what I'm looking for, the title doesn't scare me but it will scare buyers when I decide to sell it.

I had a very hard time finding anyone willing to give a loan on a rebuilt title. There is a website called lending club that will give a loan though. GLWTS.
