On alternator, did you convert to 1 wire or what?

Can't mount the regulator to the firewall per nhra rules if you plan on racing it ever it won't pass tech.

No offense, but it looks like a disgruntled assembly line worker took a 12 gauge loaded with #2 shot to work that day... WTF is with all those holes? Bracket mounts? More airflow for cooling? A place for all the oil to leak out of? <J/K> I know it's not on you!

I can't use the f body accessories on the LQ4 can I? Thought I read some bolt holes were missing compared to the aluminum blocks.

IIRC, you have to drill a hole and tap it on the driver side front of the block for the alternator bracket. It has been done. Eric L

just drill/tap a hole with the metric tap and it's all good, did it in about 30 minutes taking my time to drill straight into the block and level

^ What Distributor set up is that? One of the best looking lsx foxbody engines bays I've seen!

Thanks! It's a Jesel Belt drive distributor that is driven with a pulley and belt off the upper cam pulley... Which is a Jesel belt drive cam setup.
