Default T56 vs T56 Mag.

Guys, about the last thing I need to buy for my swap is the trans. I am debating whether I need the T56 mag or would the T56 be sufficient. I will have a LS2 with just a very mild (almost stock) cam in it. What are the pro's and con's. Thanks in advance!!!!

You can do a search and find a good bit about both. The t56 mag is suppose to be a significant upgrade on the T56. It is stronger and shifting is much more smooth. Being an aftermarket trans you can also get it with both electronic and mechanical speedo drives.

A plain t56 will be more than strong enough for your build. But keep in mind the T56's improved over time. The early ones tended to eat shift forks. Seems like all the ones from the early camaros need rebuilding, and rebuilds aren't cheap.
