I want a stealth setup on a $2000 budget
Im not fond of attracting attention of the local municipal authorities, therefore im pondering to see what would be good for a stealth setup on a 99 z28 a4. I've seen the tsp 1 3/4 long tubes ( sold out til end of feb ), and im scared thats gonna be alotta noise. I mostly do highway driving. The key point here is that i want to keep the car quiet, and spend around 1500-2000. Im not expecting a 700 horse monster , but an honest 50-70 added horse at the rear. any facts/opinions are appreciated thanks and god bless!

also some stealthy camshafts too, combined with a stall would be beast!
ive also seen people run headers with a cutout and the stock catback, so its pretty quiet and really opens up when you want it!!!

The TSPs are in stock. Here is my list of what I would do in your position.
Lid/ported TB $100
TSP LTs and Ory $550
Thunderbolt metallic cats $140 with labor
SLP dual dual $150
So let's say 1000 roughly in power mods so far. You can take the other 1000 and buy some suspension and appearance mods or buy a cam kit, lifters, oil pump, bolts and gaskets. Your choice. To put it in perspective for shocks, springs, strut mounts, panhard bar, LCAs and brackets I'm only in just over 500.

SLP lid, LS6 intake, Stall(3200-3600), and then when your budget permits it again, LT headers, catted Y-pipe, cat-back exhaust. Now the third times a charm, again once you saved up modification funds ($1500-$2000) you'll have enough for a cam and all the supporting parts to do it right, plus a tune.
