Easiest to change RPM.... Raptor
Best Price... Harlan (55) Raptor (85)
Easiest to install... I'd say that they're the same
Highest Quality.. maybe the Raptor, but not by much...

I'm going with the Harlan... mainly because of the $30 price difference..

This is a little off the topic but I just (today) installed a proform shift light I purchased from Summit for under 50.00. It is larger than the 2 you mentioned but it requires no pills etc. Straight forward installation and works great.

Sorry to say, but you'll hate that proform in a week or two. I'd say that it looks the best out of all of the shiftlights that I've seen, but there's some kind of glitch that people complain of. I believe that it just blinks or something like that.

Do a search for Proform on this sight, and you'll read about what I'm describing..

Good luck with it..

Also.. the Harlan and Raptor don't require any pills either. They tap into the PCM and read the RPM's directly from the computer.

Why not support the LS1 community and go with Harlan's shift light?

Speaking of, I need one to....

Gotta agree here... I got one of those Proform lights at first and they didn't work for ****. Had to sell it on Ebay...

The LS1s don't put out enough voltage for the Proforms to work correctly... so they end up malfunctioning. I'd get rid of it ASAP and get a light that was actually designed specifically with the LS1 in mind, like the Harlan or Raptor.

Just to pop in, thanks for the support guys.

And a warning, it'll take me just over a week to ship these days. I'm coming off a business trip and a long string of heavy OT weeks at work.

My supply does fluctuate, it is a side business after all

Happy shifting

All you need is the shiftlight... those other things are for nitrous applications.

I think there is something like a 5 day wait.. But it's not really a big deal to wait.. Pretty high quality product.. I'm ordering the Blue one to go with my Cobalt C-2 guage..

It doesn't take long at all. Its justa matter of a few dip switches.

FWIW... I've had my Harlan shift light for almost 2 years. The quality is great.

Just a week to ship? That doesn't sound too bad. I'll be ordering one soon too.
