Default MPGs with FI

Hey just wondering what everyone is getting MPG wise with their FI setup. If you can put how much boost you run, what turbo, and of course your mpg. Thanks

My old 302 combo got 20 or so on the highway, 3.08 gear, carb, 3 speed auto and ran 11.20. My friends stock explorer motor with injection and an AOD gets close to 26 on the highway and has been 10.95's with 3.55 gears.

With a stock cube 346, 227/224 114 cam, stock 241 heads, ls6 intake, pt76gts turbo at 15psi, 4L80E, 3.55 rear gear, 3900lbs., cruising to Myrtle Beach and back it got 21-22mpg the way there and back going 60-75mph the trip. At 60 it cruised at 2000rpm with the converter locked, 2250 at 65, 2500 at 70 and 2700ish at 75. 28" tire would of dropped that down at least 100-150rpm each interval, and I wish I had gone with 3.42 and a taller tire, or a taller tire at least for more mph and mpg.

The car made an estimated 700ish rwhp on a trap speed/race weight calculator on 15psi, and made 646rwhp on 11psi through a T56 before the auto swap.

Cool thanks for the info guys, keep it coming. I guess also say your drive habits like they have been. If you drive like you stole it or just cruise. Just trying to get some idea if you lose mpg or gain.

i can throw 20 bucks in my car for a little over 5 gallons, go do some pulls(4 or 5 pulls..) 1st to 4th gear and still get 100 miles out of it mostly on the highway, and thats still ******* around some, just not full length pulls. I dont know what it gets out of boost because i just cant do it... lol. I do however know though that once you start boosting it it does suck down the gas lol, sips it otherwise. this is with a 6 speed.

The one trip where I didn't get on it (much hehe) with the girlfriend to the amusement park I got 27mpg. I've never got under 15 mpg and that includes, dyon pulls, racing at the track and daily driving to work with the usual rips. Gotta love high compression and a 6 speed.

Don't really see why it matters what boost your running for mpgs. I get 23 straight highway with an auto. Thats at 0 boost

Obviously a turbo will see a touch less decrease in MPG than a belted blower.

Remote mount Eaton M122, 13psi
LQ4/4L80E 3.55's

17mpg highway, thats about 5" of vacuum around 2500rpms. When into boost, it might get 3mpg

Didnt build it for MPG, if I did it would be NA, mild cam, T56

I will routinely pull 25-30mpg on the highway to and from the track. T56 with a 3.50 rear gear in the 9".
Around town, somewhere around 13ish.
