air pump removal 01 c5 Hey guys, I'm used to f body world.. but I switched to a 2001 c5. I bought LG super pros race style (but they still come with AIR tubes/flange. As far as I know, no y bodies have egr. So before I install headers I'm going to have the air tubes/bracket cut off n welded. My question is, where is the airpump located? I'm assuming it.s four bolts and I just have to unplug it from the harnness. Also, my second question: is there a plug that they make so I can plug the tube that goes into my airbride/cai?

Hi,
If it is in the same place as my 00 C5 then it is in the front left just inside the bumper by the fog lights. You will need to have the code for a malfunctioning AIR tuned out of your computer. For the hole in the air filter I just filled in the plug that connects the rubber hose to the bridge and left it there.
