Default Normal Running temperature[Stock T-Stat]

What is the normal running temperature of your SS? I have a 99 SS and I think it runs a bit hotter than normal.. I'm not sure, I'm into muscle cars so right under 210 your gettin pretty damn hot. If you guys could maybe name how hot your SS runs, with about what degree T stat? It would help me a lot.

And... when you stop your car to turn it off, do your fans go on? Mine don't... normal? not? =/

Normal Oil pressure? I see 40 at idle, and 60-80 when throttling...

Posting replies would help immensly. Thanks in advance for your input guys!!!!

My temp always says about 200 and my oil pressure is always 50 PSI at idle and 60-65 on the gas. If its hot enough outside my fans will kick in after a good run and I park it somewhere.

Thanks for the replies guys. Was kind of scared when I noticed the fans not going on and the car was at 210... That spells disaster for a nicely built Olds 455 .

My guess is that the oil pressure gauge is a dummy set-up, too: set up to read no less than 40 as long the pressure is in the normal range and to only go up from there. 40 lbs. of pressure at idle using thin oil with top readings of about 70 at high rpms doesn't seem to square with the laws of physics. But maybe I'm missing something.
