ASP Pulley
Just checking to see how many of you guys have had the crank bolts walk out and trash the pulley.
Yep, call me lucky. If I hear one more shop or vendor say "We have never seen anything like that before" I swear I will go postal.
So what should happen? Is this a common occurence?
The pulley was on the car for about 14 months.
Im on the side of if the bolt walked out it the pulley and or bolt was not installed properely.
On the bright side, I am in this far. New cam and double roller timing chain.

No doubt in my mind that it was not installed per spec.

I was told the mechanic's installation was not the problem. So who knows.
What sucks is the shops attitude towards it's customers.
