Thunder sells the same exact 1 7/8 header, QTP and Thunder get them from the same manufacturer in Massachusettes. They're the old Grotyohan headers.
Whoever has the best price I guess.

Kooks,
Contact this guy, Matt Sorian aka. TTPMatt. He's a sponsor here and you can’t beat his prices.

You might check if those are stainless or mild steel? I belive the 304 stainless go for $725 and the mild steel are $519.

Mike, if you're doing a big cube build up, you really should take Gordon's advice. 1 7/8" might not be optimal for what you're trying to do.

I just got my Edelbrocks a week ago...nice constuction, full race design, stepped, 3.5" merge collector, emissions tubes you can weld on, O2 bungs, and O2 extensions...those are like 20 bucks each right there. anyway, thats the best bang for your buck in my book.

When you say emissions tubes you can weld on. Do they come non-emissions. (ie nothing attached to the primaries?)

thanks,
Chris

SDPC stands for Scoggin Dickey Parts Center. We are a very large parts distributor. Edelbrock does make a very nice stepped header. There are a few things you have to do when you get the headers (install o2 bungs, & and the collector is not welded on). BUT they are a RACE header. We also have Kooks on the shelf. Let me know if you would like more info.

Correct, the emissions crap is all there, but you have to drill holes for it and then weld them in. you also have to weld the collectors on and the o2 bungs on. Two of my friends have plasma cutters, mig welders, stick welders, and acetylene torches. ahh, gotta love the car friends...

I called and talked to them and they said they don't carry kooks headers for f-bodys yet just for the Vetts. I'm not doubting that your getting headers just what kind are they? The $519. is lower than any where else or on the net by almost $200 for stainless 1 7/8 kooks headers. Kinda hard to belive unless they are used or mild steel???

i called them today and they told me they could order them and I did but he told me the stainless was 549 and then after I ordered he called me back and told me that was a mistake only the mild steel for that price the stainless was an extra 250 so Id double check again.
