Default Curtesy light won't turn off, help!

Where is the dimmer located for the curtesty light in the rear view mirror. Mine started flicking when I hit a rough spot in the road now won't turn off at all.

You mean the map light?
Is the switch screwed up??
If you have to, disconnect the rear view mirror harness.

Yes, the map light won't go off. The switch turned it on fine when it was going off so I don't think it's the switch. The way it was flashing on over bumps seems to me indicated it the dimmer portion causing the problem.

I suppose disconnecting the harness would be better than pulling the fuse. Would rather fix it.

I meant the part that controls the light delay after shutting the door. I don't think that is controlled with a switch.

Body control module, if your problem is not in the rear view switch it prolly lies here & will have to be found........

Thanks! Until I can get the problem traced down I'll have to leave the fuse out to prevent my battery from draining.
