Generation IV External Engine - 500 rwhp lq9

Gents,

I have read quite a few post about massive HP 6.0s and 6.2s, but I can't seem to find if they are doing this with stock L99-LY6 heads. Obviously a camshaft R2 is a must. Can someone point me to a good read that will tell me what to swap out (specifically) on an LQ9 to get 600hp? My TKO 600 needs some love :engarde:

Some 6.2s might be able to hit that with stock heads, massive cam and every bolt-on imaginable, but there's very little chance 6.0s will get to 500...and certainly not with stock heads.

You basically need excellent and expensive parts to do so, and even then it's not guaranteed.

LQ9 with ported LS3/L92's heads, FAST intake, LT's, tune, and a nasty cam then maybe.

Where can I go for proven combos? Camshaft specs, head work etc? I know the magazines are hard to trust these days.

look up who has 500+ rwhp LS3 headed cars and see who did there cam
