Anyone familiar with sizing injectors? My car seems to be maxing out 36#'s at the moment (heads/cam) setup. From the Hp tuners scan from the day I was at the dyno she seems to be running the following at 5300rpm I am at 78-80% injector duty, by 5600rpm I am at 88%, and 90% by 6000rpm. At the start of the run at 4900rpm I am as low as 69% duty.

As far as future mods in the forseeable future it is most likely limited to upper and lower intake manifold swap and PP work to both respectively.

Car will remain N/A

I also already have a walboro installed (same one for the Lt1's)

That sixxer must be making some serious power if your maxing out your 36lbers!

This is a good site for calculating your injector sizing.

Sweet thanks. Quick question though, is that horsepower at the wheels or at the motor that they are referring to in the equation?

and

we'll see what kinda power/potential it has if/when I can afford to get her to the track this year!

usually at crank, also don't oversize injectors.

hmm, what happens if you oversize? I'm guessing it will just be impossible not to be running rich?

Are you running a ladder bar or torque arm setup with your 8.8? Did you get it done by Cam?

torque arm setup, and yes it was built by Cam.

I haven't done much research into the ladder bar setup yet, I do want to get this torque arm off the trans though, not sure if I'll go that route or a torque arm kit that relocates the arm off the tailshaft.

Ohhh ya...cars 1000 times more fun when you're not having to baby the glass rear end. FYI, if you end up getting the sealed wheel bearings (from what I understand there are 2 types), ask moser for the inner seals...they say you don't need it, but they're dumb....cost me 3 bearings in less than 2000km...they kept telling me there was a problem with my rear end (yet the bearing was leaking through the middle of itself, not the outer seal portion)...needless to say the 5$ inner seal solved my problem

This is weird since I'm also running 36# and not maxing them out.

That because you have 8 of them and he only has 6
