Question LQ9 twin turbed!

hey guys i'm just starting with this setup, already got "whole" engine, i wanted some advice to choose turbo's, it may depends on a lot of factors but here some data what it'd be intended to, more street drive than track, premium fuel, want good low end power, it is going a S-10 truck so it won't be that heavy , if also need to choose cam still, what about LS6 stock cam? could i choose a little bigger one? thanks in advance.

Hard to beat a Borg Warner S475 or 480 for cost. Would get you 550 easily. That TH350 is going to be hurting if its not built. LS6 cam is fine but I hated not having a little lope with it in my 6.0. Good lick with your project.

Crap, just typed that and remembered you said twins. I've seen some used Precision 62's on Ebay lately. Couple of those would be good.

if your on a tight budget, see if you can find a deal on some old to4 turbos, with your goal of only 550 whp, some small 57mms with a T4.68 ar hotside would do that and still leave room to grow. ls6 cam is a popular one for budget boost engines.

If your want extream budget use the stock cam and a pair of turbos off a ford turbocoupe, they will choke with higher rpms but you said you didnt want to spin it that high, and they would spool instantly giving you the low end you want.

Give some more details, your budget, fab experience, etc

If you are on a tight budget unless you just want to say i have twins I would do a single set up. You could run a magnum 76 and reach your power goals and still have good spool. I have a S475 on my stock lq9 and made just north of 500rwhp on less than ten pounds just for reference.

well it seems i changed my mind, twins would be a little or a lot of more money spent, so some have just told i can handle good spool with only one turbo, it'll be just one turbed, i'll be loorking for something that S475 then. thanks there
