Question Which Exhaust???

Tring to figure which exhaust to get here people need some imput. Got a 2001 Camaro z28 auto, debating on the TSP Rumbler catback, or true duals (dunno how much is involed to get the true duals as far as installation and emmissons),SLP loudmouth ll, cant seem to find 2otl any where, or the magnaflow. I'm lookign for horsepower and sound, eventually will do headers and cam. If I do the TSP Rumbler catback i'll prob order headers at the same time. so what do you all think about this???

The Rumbler is a nice cat-back but I like the Loudmouth alot better. Either one sounds loud and mean with long tubes. With these two systems I would consider running some high flow cats. It cuts out the rasp and is still loud.

Rumbler come with a dynomax bullet, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and the SLP LM2 comes with.... The LM2 Bullet. LM2 has packing, the LM1 does NOT.

The LM1 comes with the Shotgun resonator and LM2 comes with the Bullet resonator.

if you want HP and sound, true duals and the discussion ends right there. Not that the loudmouth is bad, but the duals is on a whole different level and since you have a camaro, it will definitely look nicer from the rear. My brother has an SS, those cars were definitely not meant to have tips in the rear, dumped is much better

Its all opinion. TD's sound great but I wouldnt trade the Loudmouth. I like the mean, nasty sound of the lm1 on f bodys and I like TD's better on Vettes. For some reason I think on my car the loudmouth / long tubes goes great with the look of the ram air hood

If i could go back,i would just run my kooks w/off roads a cutout and a stock catback. My b&b tryflow gained 1hp over a stock ws.6 catback. I would run a cutout with the stock catback. saves money. the sound and power is there when you need it. my b&b is so bad i gain 30hp when the cutout opens on the dyno.

I agree.............sort of. I had a LM1 on my WS6, definitely looked good and sounded cool as hell, I loved it at WOT under acceleration. If the OP had a TA, I would have decided against TD's and in favor of the LM, a dumped exhaust on a TA looks like . Don't think the OP wants to spend $1500 on a kooks TD either. Even though the TD's in my opinion sound much better than my LM1 IMO, I would never had trade it in for TD's that are dumped, at least not as long as I have a TA

I just put a Hooker Aerochamber on my car today, but I still have stock everything else...manifolds, cats and y.

It's pretty quiet at idle but noticeably louder than stock at idle, a good bit louder at WOT but not crazy loud. It has a nice mellow deep tone at driving speed and under normal acceleration. I do have headers and tsp y pipe sitting in a box here waiting to install and I expect it to be considerably louder when I get those in.
