So I found my pump is leaking, and I really don't want to spend 300 on an ac delco pump. Is it possibleits the gasket or no?

I just replaced mine and picked up an AC Delco water pump from rockauto.com for $120. Mine was not the gasket it was the pump seal. Took me about 3 hrs taking my time to replace and I replaced the belt at the same time.

I had to put a pump in back in September. After hearing the horror stories about the made in China pumps, I went with a GM pump.

found over the weekend that my water pump was leaking on me.... so had my car at the shop yesterday for about 4-5 hours...
had them install new water pump, new serpentine belt, change tranny fluid and tranny filter, new coolant and pressure tested after new pump install... $800...
