Default engine stall after cam

I installed the hotcam in my 99 TA and after the install I started up the car and it kept stalling after a few seconds and it also runs really ruff, I adjusted the tension on the throttle body to make the car idle at 1000 rpms but sometimes it stalls when i put it into gear after warming up, is it necessary to drill a larger hole into the throttle body so it wouldnt run so ruff and stall? thanks, matt

Auto or manual?
Drilling the TB helps.
Use the search function to find out how much to drill out the TB.
A tune may be in order if the PCM doesn't learn the cam after a few hundred miles.

You can run an extra 3 or 4 degrees of idle ignition timing (1200 rpm and below) to help smooth it out, but with the Hot Cam you will always have a somewhat rough idle.
