What slicks are you going to use? Depending on the track I'd think WOT from 5000-6500. You will have to play with it, I prefer a quick slip vs a full dump.

dont even bother with 2500. launch on the two step as high as possible until it starts to spin.

trans should be fine

I would try 4k with a light slip and go from there. I can't talk from
Exp bc I haven't been able to take my car to the track since I put the blower on it. But when it was N/A it worked very good for me an that was on street tires. Good luck

Ive got my 2 step set at 5500 Rpms on my car. Makes 700+rwhp. Dont even try dumping it below 4k cause it will bog like no other. Launch it like you hate it if you want a good number! lol

Haha fair enough. i just don't want the transmission to explode. But apparently it should be ok. With the 2 step, can i just slap it on and use it? Or do i HAVE to have my tune adjusted for it?

I think this is a good idea.

I think you need to be more concerned with axles and rear end though then the tranny, especially if you are gonna run decent tires.

I don't know if you can launch hard enough to worry about it breaking with that setup. If it breaks, it wasn't meant to last...So go ***** out and back off as needed imo.

you can launch right off it and get great 60's. cant speak for a blower setup, but turbos can add or pull boost by playing with the timing at the various rpms settings.

just cause i like this vid

dont worry about the drivetrain, what you posted is plenty strong, when i was h/c/n20 i would launch just shy of the limiter

all good info above for the most part, you will need to keep the rpms higher than 4k and with 3.89 rear gear you will have to ride the clutch a bit to keep from bogging or having to much wheel speed. I could see that set up doing 1.5x 60's with some m/t 28x10.5 stiff sidewalls.

The one thing you need to remember is you can't just put these parts on your car and expect it to work!!! These parts are adj. for a reason. You might launch at 4k and be fine, then 5k and spin all day. Some suspension tweaking and working with it to get it right.

O ya for sure... Ill play with it. ill need a starting place on how to adjust everything...im kind of suspension retarded.. I know what the parts do just don't know how to adjust them accordingly to what the car is doin. Or how much to adjust them....
