Im going to change over to a wet system and was wondering with a good tune timing for safety and good a/f would i be able to run a 175 shot. So far ive been spraying a 125 shot dry and gone through a few bottles to say the least, lol. Car has responded well but thats just about at the limits of what a dry system can do for me for stock fuel injectors and pump. Not sure if its worth going to a wet shot for 25hp more but some say a 125 shot dry is about 90-100 to the wheels and a 150 shot wet could be anywere from 140-160 at the wheels depending on mods so its probably more difference then just 25hp more but id like to go to 175 shot. What do you guys think ?

if you have good oil pressure and dont smoke go for it get it tuned for it i run a 175 on mine and i put down like 530ish too the rear tire and it is fast as heck for a 500 hp car but make sure the tune is right or youll be rebuilding it lol

ya for sure, ill be having him pull timing accordingly and make sure my a/f is 11.5-11.8. Im going to start off at 75 shot and work my way up like i just started using nitrous, it will run rich but it will let me know i have enough fuel as i go up little by little till i get to 175 and at that point if the tune is right i should know wether or not it will be ok to run it.

Are you running a wideband sensor to keep up with your A/F ratio?

Ya for sure, every time i run it i always keep an eye on it just to make sure the a/f is right.

Where do you have it mounted? i was thinking about putting mine in the y-pipe, just don't know if that would be too far away from the motor...

I have it on the ypipe. I didnt know if i should put it right behind the header or just put it on the y since both sides meet up and i might get a more accurate reading. Either way im glad i did when i first put it on thinking i have a good tune and im just doing this to be safe come to find out im running 14-15.0 a/f on 75 shot dry, lol. I sent it out right away and got it re tuned for 125 shot dry and came out good. Im running a bit rich 11.5-11.8 a/f on nitrous but as long as its not low 11's or 10's im ok with that.

youll have fun when time comes for sure, it puts a smile on my face everytime i use nitrous. Hopefully i can get the 150 wet shot dialed in and then maybe move on to the 175 shot.

Sorry to hi jack but I have quick question. For those that run spray on daily drivers, do y'all run around with timing retarded all the time? I had a friend that sprayed a 150 shot but never did anything with timing.

Ive pulled timing but the timing on my car is only pulled when the nitrous is on. I have a black box hooked up to the IAT and when i flip the switch on to the nitrous it switches over to nitrous tune. I would not recommend driving around using a 150 shot with no timing pulled. I even pulled timing on a 50 shot, lol. I will be going to 150 wet and my tuner will pull more timing and adjust fuel till i decide its ok to go to 175. If i do 175 i will have to buy the booster for the fuel pump, add's a couple of volts to the fuel pump and then hope the tune is good. Ive delayed it a bit going to a wet system because 125 shot dry hits hard and impressive when you have good bottle pressure. So i know ill for sure be happy with 150 wet shot.

Tell me more about this black box that you speak of or atleast point me in the right direction direction so i can do some more reading on this.

Always pull 2 degrees for every 50 shot of spray and then start adding degrees if the car is liking it and the plugs look good

If switching to a wet system you will still need to upgrade the fuel pump but you will not need to upgrade the injectors.
