People dont get that. A 450 rwhp 7.0l will dust a 450 rwhp 5.7l everytime if equal weight.


That viper guy drove his *** off. Lots of props. Its pretty rare to see a owner start that hard and shift that fast in a viper. The vettes 200 pound weight advantage showed up in the later gears and ran the viper down but damn that was impressive driving

Of course the C6 would still win vs the C5, but a driver mod might help keep the gap closer!

No driver mod needed just some nos! The c6z has the tq in the right places. That c5 is a slug down low. The viper ran harder then I've seen the other ones run in town. All and all they had a good time.

I dont really get where people keep saying it doesnt make power down low? Are you guys atrting 40mph rolls in 4th gear or something? You guys shouldnt be below 4k rpms the entire race start to finish.

pretty sure 40 in 2nd puts me at like 3800ish rpm and I have a mn12 of course in my car.

Yeah, that's where I'm at. The MN12 with the more aggressive gearing seems to help quite a bit with staying in power. Regardless it will still lose to a same power 7 liter car.

Just don't put 4.10's in it with that MN12! It's great for the strip but sucks on the street if you do a lot of roll racing!

Just watched again. The Viper even got a slight jump and is strong down low but that C6 cranks up top. The C5 got yanked harder than I remember from my first viewing.
