Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - 5th gens dont race

Okay today was my third encounter with a new ss and a young guy in it and they just wont race. Anybody else have this problem? Not trashing the cars at all i really like them and want to see how i would do against them but the ones around here just wont run them. Needed somewhere to vent. Im off my soap box.

Not everyone with a nice car is looking for races. I'm the same way. I paid too much for my car to risk someone pulling out in front of me street racing.

Agreed, my car isn't anything special but I love it. Some kid in an lt1 z28 kept revving at me this morning and giving me dirty looks because I wouldn't race him from any light where the speed limit is 30mph.

I feel you man. People think im crazy for driving around with my uncle looking for races. They way i see it, why buy a fast car if you dont want to race?

/\ x2 sometimes i go looking. tonight i was just driving back home though and saw a 93-97 camaro. but it turned out to be a v6. :( however when i got beside it i saw a cute girl driving. i didnt race her but my radio was off and i heard her floor it. :D she turned at the end of the road :(

oh well. to bad i didnt get to talk to her.

oh for sure i wouldnt dare do that. This was 4 lane highway in the middle of nowhere without any traffic. Im not trying to kill anybody or be rediculously unsafe. just a little unsafe.

Its a me to car, those things are everywhere....

I have the same problem and I can't anyone in a vette to mess with me either.
