Is there a car lift that is made to fit inside a standard height home garage, A little over 8 ft. ceiling?

8 foot? Doubtful.

I did find this one tho that works with 10 foot.

I'm considering one myself, but I don't know if it will fit, since I have a support beam in the middle.

sure won't work for my pickup, but might for the belair and the camaro.

I didn't think it was possible to get one for such a low ceiling but I would love to have one of these one day

me either really... but it'd cost me close to $25-30k to build a 24x24 shop in my back yard, so really I either have something like this.. or nothing ever.

I'll measure this weekend. The FAQ recommends 10' ceilings on that product, lifts the car just about 6 feet, which is impressive considering its legs are only like 9.

It doesn't have to cost you that much to build a shop. One of these would be my dream but unfortunately I live in the suburbs so I don't have the room to build one.

I have been looking at lifts too lately. I have 9 ft ceilings in my garage and I'm really leaning towards a Direct Lift Pro Park 8S. http://www.derekweaver.com/update/Pro-Park_8_Standard_4_Post_Auto_Lifts_Product.aspx?id= 32 The beams are only 7' and I like that it has all the certifications.

only about $7k of that is the shop.

the rest is site prep.

5 120' tall trees have to be removed, a foundation of about 6' tall has to be built up, the septic field lines have to be re-ran, and then a lot of concrete has to be laid to get to the shop.
