After some very decent transactions with Speed Inc, I am actually sad to write this one.
I bought a SC3 cam and Yellow Terra 1.7 roller rockers to replace the TU2 and SLP 1.85 roller rockers on my LS3 based motor three weeks ago.
They billed my card and told me they would be out in 2-4 days, based on the cam grind from Comp Cams.
2 weeks go by, haven't seen anything. This is after I removed my cam, as I sold my TU2 cam (2-4 days, right?) and have my motor exposed. So I called this last Monday, cam's been in for a while but the rockers were on back order... wait, we made a mistake and they're in and they'll ship that day (Monday). They would not do expedited shipping nor help in any way, so I got the cam and rockers today.
Guess what, someone there can't read a box and shipped me LS1 rockers... and today, they have no LS3's in stock, at all and won't until end of March. I have to wonder who they shipped my LS3 rockers to?
So, my motor's apart, can't go back together again, can't run the rockers I have and they're sending a call tag for the LS1 rockers I can't use.
I can't tell if I got the run around on the rockers or what, but I am steamed.
Anyone have a set of LS3 roller rockers? Maybe you got mine as a surprise? I'll happily ship you the LS1's I got from Speed Inc. - I'd really like to button up my motor. (I have no stock ones)
