Cool the car/truck you wish you could have back...

i was thinking about all the vehicles me & my family have owned over the years and there are a couple that i wish we still had. one was a 68 bug...i learned how to drive a standard in this. thought they were kinda goofy looking when i was a kid but it would really be cool to have one now.

also my brother owned a "dukes of hazzard" challenger that to this day he still kicks himself for selling. even tho it was a project car, would still be fun to have.

the one i really liked was the 68 cougar which i always thought was the coolest car my dad ever owned. it was that weird looking green that was the same color as our refrigerator back in the day.

have any vehicles you wish you had back? maybe had a chance to buy or missed out on a great deal that haunts you to this day? post pics if you got'em & discuss!

Well, my dad considered cars only a form of transportation so there isn't a single car I would want that he had. My brothers and I all broke the mold, ever since I can remember we've worked on cars. So, if I had to pick one it would be my current car.

From my parents cars, I really loved the '86 Mercury Cougar they had. Charcoal grey with black leather, really a sharp car.

From my history, I really miss the '98 Wrangler I had. White with a tan top and tan interior, 4.0, 5spd, 3in lift, bock wheels with 35" bfg mud terrain's.

And although it was a project and needed some tlc, I never shoulda sold 93 GMC Typhoon. Had the front driveshaft removed and boost upped to 16psi, thing was wicked!

The only ones I would want back would be mostly for sentimental reasons.

'68 Mercury Cougar, black with the hand-crank sunroof - was one of my first cars
'86 Jaguar XJS, black with a Chevy 350 swap - last car my father had, I later got in a wreck with it then had to sell it to move up here to Dallas

Mine would have to be the car i still have, as my screen name says its all. 94 Aqua Formula. My very first car "im 22 now" dad bought it for me when i was 15. It was bone stock when we got it. Since then it is a heads cam intake 355 LT1 6 speed. Every pay check in high school went into that car, ended up putting 22k into. Had perfect paint, mint interior, sounded amazing and was gonna pass it down to my 3 year old son someday who adores it. but on Nov 17 2011 it got smashed by a drunk driver infront of my house. long story short got half my money back from it bought a 02 ws6 and got the car back for $400 bucks and just bought a 96 v6 firebird to swap everything over to.

My first vehicle - 1959 Chevrolet Apache pickup, short box, step-side. Needed a complete restoration, and a lot of TLC, but it came with an 80s 1/2 ton frame, 350, and T400. Loved that truck.

As for family vehicles, I would have to say the 1970 1/2 Camaro SS my dad used to own. Had a balanced/blueprinted 454, T400. He sold it for $2300 when I was 15 without letting me know Would have worked any job at the time to come up with the money.

As for my Camaro, I will never sell it. Like Bobs99SS, I have way too much into it, and I would never get that out of it. Owned it for almost 12 years as the 2nd owner (Had less than 2000 miles when I bought it). Will pass it down in the family some day.

I had a 91 300zx TT roller for a week. If I had kept that car and fixed it I would never have bought my T/A.

Thinking about this and I can't believe I didn't list my high school car. I'm always looking for one but not real seriously. One day I would love to have another 1976 Trans Am with a t-10 4 speed. Ah the memories I had in that thing.

My 2000 Z28, I remember being in high school and daydreaming about how I would get one and what I would do to it. I put a lot of time and money in it for being a college student. Back then the LS1 was top of the heap for muscle cars.

My 1992 extended cab s10. It was lowered 2"-3" and painted Plymouth Prowler Purple. Really a simple modded truck with the 2.8/5spd. Woulda had an LSX swap for sure by now. Maybe I'll have another one day. My 98 Z28 keeps me busy. No time for other toys at the moment.

For the longest time it was my '98 Hardtop NBM SS I had in highschool.

Last month I bought a 2002 Hardtop NBM SS because I missed my old one so much.

My geo metro lol. That thing ran hard over 300k miles on it great fuel milage. It was a great car . I beat the hell out of it. It ran on a 1/2 quart of oil for 30 miles, I hit a rock in the road that damage the pan. I ran it hot like 12 times and it still ran good. I was 15 when i had that thing, it was a 4 speed man. But some asshat stole it and strip it. It was found 48 housr later. Everything was gone except the frame and windsheild. I also had a 1985 trans am. When I was 17 my parents took it away and sold it because I got cought speeding. I passed my dad going 90mph showing off to a girl. When I got home he took my keys and drove off in it . I never seen it again.
