Hey guys recently bought my 02 m6 SS w/ 88k miles. Went to the dyno jet for a baseline absolutely stock and after 3 pulls the best was 335 hp and 346 tq. I was very happy as I just wanted to see more than 300hp. I went to pbir and ran the car 7 times a few wednsdays ago and got a best of 13.4 @ 105 my first time ever down the track. My buddy tunes w EFI live and checked the car and said it had no tune in it. I have since done the mods below. I would like to know if the stock power and torque sounds about right or is it above average. Thanks.

I put down 307/340 yesterday in a stock 01 M6 TA with 85k on the clock. Given Dyno differences I would say that is about average.

Are you saying that you got 335rwhp out of a stone stock LS1? Track times sound right on the money, but those numbers, I don't know.....

That dyno is really high. Those numbers are about what my car puts down.

I knew it sounded high but I got video of the pulls and pics of the dyno sheet. I'm new to forums, can someone show me how to post them? Thx.

My bone stock except borla 01 ws6 put down 335/346 and one right in front of me with just a loudmouth made within 1-2 hp/tq so I would say you're right on the money.

What was the da and weather like when you ran at pbir? The 105 trap is a tad low for a stock m6 in south fl in the winter but if you had bad weather it's right on the money

Man honestly it was my first time ever down the 1/4 mile but the weather was in the low 70's high 60's. My 60 foot times were crap(2.2,2.1) and I left off idle but in capable hands I bet it would've been a few tenths better. I hope to get more track time and cut it down a bit with the added mods. Thx

It isnt the et thats low, its the trap speed, especially for those dyno numbers...I think that dyno is a little friendly! I have a friend who's girlfriends car with bolt ons put down about the same power as you, maybe 4 or 5 rwhp more, and her car is an auto and ran 12.6_ something at 110mph on a 60 degree day...

Yeah man I thought the same thing, that's why I started the thread. Should I go to a different dyno jet or a different brand dyno? It really doesn't matter THAT much but I just wanted a baseline before I started modding so I can see the results.

I agree, doesn't matter much since you will be getting some mods on it soon and these numbers won't matter much, but the numbers you posted are definitely high and I don't know if it's that accurate of a baseline.

The majority of stock LS1's out there generally aren't going to see over 310rwhp, you're claiming 335, so I think it's safe to say that the dyno you were on was a bit happy.

Ive seen a Bone stock 01-02 WS6 manual put down 331rwhp on a dynapack a long time ago. Saw a low on that day as well of 276rwhp from a convertible camaro. This was a dyno day. Your 105mph is low for the power you putting down, who knows really. If you have to get a baseline then i would go elsewhere and re dyno it just in case.

Well since I've already started modding, I will go do another dyno session at the same place as well as at another shop near my house. I will keep y'all posted. Thx.

i wasnt just saying that its a little low for the dyno numbers but that its a little low for an m6 is good fl weather. a non humid night in the 60's down here is right around 200 ish da. He should have been running a couple mph quicker. With the mods do a complete tune up and I bet you'll pickup some lost stock power along with th epower from the mods
