LS4 Performance - What did i need to run mid to low 13s?

I just want the car to be a little more fun to drive as I don't really street race(anymore) and I don't really want to break stuff. Anyone know what I will need and about how much? Thanks!

You can run a 13.1ish without the 1.8 rr

And with the 1.8 RR, you'd need to do the valve springs.

With my GXP I ran a 13.504 with a fenderwell intake, DT headers, stock cat-back, and a tune (in great weather). You mentioned not breaking stuff, but the sad thing is that these cars are too fragile from the factory. My tranny was shifting waaaay to soft from 1-2 with only 48k on it, and I knew a rebuild was coming fairly soon, thus the reason I traded it in. I had come to the point of boredom with the car as it was, I was about to throw more mods at it but the soft shifting tranny steered me towards the trade-in. But back on topic, I think if you were running some sort of cold air intake, headers, exhaust, tune, and a LS1/LS6 intake you could run mid to low 13's all day long. Have fun with it!

Mel...look a couple threads down...JP's car broke down on the side of the Highway and someone stole it...stripped it...didn't take the hood...and then dumped the shell.


He had a CRX for a minute...and now I am not sure what he has...

I've been driving friends' vehicles, haven't replaced mine yet. I am driving a GTO right now though. :D Enough offtopic.
