Angry intake manifold to head issue

Ok I just got my l92 heads milled .030 and now my intake manifold won't fit, unless I loosen the heads and tighten it down. Now there is a massive gap between the block and heads. If its not one thing its another!

Did you perhaps forget the dowels in the block at the bottom row left and right head bolt locations?

yeah i left those out because i didnt think it would matter for a mock up since my headstuds fill up most of the gap.

The dowels are required.

I know they are required but I don't see how it would ever bolt together even with them on. I will get a pic and show you guys.

And before the "mill job" everything fit correctly? Same heads and manifold? I'm not seeing an 0.030" cut making any noticeable difference, seems like your problem will be of a different nature...
