This one baffles me I have a 98 ss had my coolant flushed recently my drain cock was leaking all the way closed i noticed the shop broke the fins off the plug I replaced the plug with a new one then I was driving noticed my low coolant light came on went back home and noticed I had coolant dripping from near my k member I let it cool down and it was pouring out I was almost empty lost it all in the driveway a friend told me to squeeze my radiator hose and look and see if I could see the leak but I hear air when I do on the passenger side of the motor possiable freeze plug or head gasket is what I'm fearing. Question is how hard is it to change a freeze plug while the motor is in? Does anyone have a picture of the locations of them? Any advice of I have to go that route? Any input would be appreciated.
