Championship? I guess it could be done since I'm only running 3 events so point wise I can't win versus a car that races all 4. That being said enjoy Florida because second place and below is all that is available after that.

Good luck to you guys and everyone else in Florida. Be safe and have fun!

holley fest is not a points event

So 3 points events and if you miss 1 you are out basically correct?

Well, before you make that decision, I'd verify that info, these rules were taken from the NMCA site tonight.

It looks like Mark is right Mike based on the wording. Maybe somebody from NMCA can chime in and set us straight. I think you could run SYF and Drag Radial both. I know the 1st year they allowed it.

Just to clarify, ALL of the 4-races count for points, including Holley.

You have to attend at least 3 races to be in the running and you also have to be at the LSX Shootout to get it done. So you can miss ONE (Bradenton, Atlanta or Holley) but every race counts towards points.

Also you certainly can run Shut Your Face and DR... In fact, we encourage it!

Encourage it,,,, WOW That is out right BULLSHIT. I tried, I argued
and I was flat out told I COULD NOT run both last year by Jeff Connely.
Can you tell you struck a nerve???????? :laser:

Just wanted to thank Carl at Rossler Transmissions and Joe at Pro Torque for the help during the off season with our new drivetrain. As many of you know we had some issues with our old setup last season. Well, we have only taken this setup out twice now with our new transmission and torque converter and have already picked up over a tenth in the 1/8 mile. We are looking forward to fine tuning this bad boy to go even quicker and air her out 1/4 mile!!! Thanks again guys!

Ray, sorry for the confusion here. We're working with Holley to hopefully move the entire SYF Race to Saturday, which would allow racers to enter both SYF and their regular class of choice. Holley allowed this the first year but with both classes running at the same time, and it just caused too much trouble, which is why you were told it wasn't allowed last year.

This year, we are trying our best to make it happen, so please stay tuned for more updates. We would love to see racers in both!
