Ok well since you didn't list a cam I would get one that matches/ works well with your combo and goals , which we already know is not 1/4 mile or you would have a rearend on that list. That 408 is going to make scrap metal out of that 10 bolt in short order with an M6. Also put a good clutch on your list along with some suspension pieces like LCA, torque arm, subframe connectors. That SLP MAF is going to choke your motor also.

I'd ditch the MAF and run SD. I'm running 12.5:1 compression and a 255/263 .624/.624 115lsa, and if gas wasn't $4.00 a gallon is daily drive it.

Id recomend atleast a high 24x/25x cam since the extra cubes really eat up duration

This is not your average everyday run of the mill engine, meaning its going to be harder then your average "which cam is best" thread. Having someone with tons of experience spec your cam out is very good advice. I would call some reputable people and mull it over with them and see who you like best. PredatorZ on here is very helpful and knowledgeable dealing with cams and I wouldn't hesitate to ask his .02 also.

If you want an off the shelf, the sTroker from thunder racing or Texas Giant from TSP. But call and get a custom one, as stated this is not an average combo.

thanks for the response guys...I guess my real question is should i be worried about the aggressive lobes on the cam i have, i read that the lobes are hard on the valve train. The cam i have now is....

TSP 244/248 .612 .615 112LSA

also i have

yella terra ultra light 1.7
lunati link bar lifters
monster stage 2 clutch

You should be good, just want to check your spring pressure once a year to be sure....It's not that big of a deal and can be done while the head is on the car, just need to pull the valve cover
