General LSX Automobile Discussion - windshield cowl

OK I have a LS3 stroked 418ci underneath my sunoco style Hood. My question; do you think it would cause a problem not installing the cowl, my reason: the motor produces a lot of heat, I'm thinking it would relieve the underhood temps by venting hot air???? Thanks in advance

I think you should be fine my buddy has a ls3 under his stock ws6 hood and he has no issues at all.

I'm just concerned about rain water running down into the engine.
