i stayed at the hooters hotel, its not ON the strip, but its right behind tropicana and mgm that are on the strip. it was alot cheaper but i went on spring break. they probly had prices jacked up anyways.
buy ins are cheaper too, but i wasnt there to gamble. maybe next time

The Aria was nice. It is basically on the strip, but set back a bit. It was nice, but not nec the party place. I would stay there again though. The Ballagio looked very nice.

Luxor cheap good bars/club
Excalibur cheaper, old. Refurbished rooms are nice
Flamingo good prices. Closer to center strip.
Next stay for me I want to stay in Planet Hollywood, I spent alot of time there last vegas trip. Also stayed at Stratosphere. But its way out of the way. Decent prices, great view of strip.

Ive been to Vegas twice. Both times for weddings. One of which was mine that didn't last. I stayed at the Stratosphere and Luxor. The Stratosphere is of course older but was decent. Its just at the very end of the strip and quite a walk to the other casinos. I liked the Luxor because its newer and it connects to Mandalay bay which also cool. Next time I go I will stay at the New York New York or the Paris which are my 2 fav casinos. A couple things you gotta do....The water show at the Bellagio and check out Fremont street. Check out Margaritaville also. I know you didn't ask for all that but I figured I'd share.

I've been twice and I'd recommend staying somewhere sort of central of the strip! Caesars Palace, Paris, Treasure Island or Monte Carlo!

I've stayed at the Luxor, was kinda pricey and at the end of the strip but, new. Prior to that stayed at the Flamingo, nice room facing the water show in front of the Belligo, rates were very reasonable and the hotel was centrally located. Next trip we're stying at the Golden Nugget downtown.

Belligo!!!!

I'll be there in 10 days and this will be the 2nd time staying there. We have 1 free night in the suite and 3 free nights in the regular room. All I had to do was pay for the flight which was $525.00 for 2 people.

I went last July for my birthday, stayed at harrahs. It's not bad at all for the price and location is right in the middle of the strip. I wanna stay at planet Hollywood or monte Carlo next time, but I'd stay at harrahs again no doubt.
I went to sapphire also and it was ok but Vegas strip clubs suck! Whatever you do Do not go to the stripclub on Fremont street called glitter and gulch lol

I'm leaving at 9:10 tomorrow morning to be there for two days for my bachelor party. We are staying at the imperial palace. It will be my third time staying there. Older casino, but great location right in the middle of the strip. The rooms are nice but not super modern or anything. Biggest plus for us is $50 a night so bang for your buck is high. I don't spend a lot of time in the room, so I would rather it have good location than super plush rooms. As for casinos to play in, I like Paris for on the strip, but my favorite casino is the 4 queens downtown.

Stayed in the stratosphere sp the first time I went. It was cheap and all we did was sleep there. This pass year went with my family and stayed bellagio and it was sweet but alot more money too. Most of the time you are in and out of all the major ones and just sleep where you are staying

I'd stay at the Paris. They have a really bad *** night club and its a good crowd in the casino also tons of hotness.

Been there twice in less then a year and stayed there both times. WELL worth the $ IMO.

Here's a pic of the view from my room.
