That looks more like a mild cam. I'm running a 231/247 .617/.624 113. 377ci, LSA heads, twin 67s, 3" downpipes.

I would say something like this is aggressive...

237/251 114 lsa or 235/247 115 lsa it really comes down to the valve events though and overlap.

Just for point of comparison, I did some online chat with Comp Cams yesterday speccing a cam for a LS2 402/GT91 turbo build I'm going to start, and they came up with a 243/243 .624/.624 115+2 LSA cam. I specced it a bit more towards drag car than street car, but just something for you to compare against

I would say its pretty mild and would drive like a caddy on the street. You will be limited by the heads lifting before the cam hurts you.

About 950-1000hp with those castings. Even with 1/2" studs you will be fighting with those heads. If you want to ring out that 91 a good cylinder head will be needed. We have good luck with the TFS heads to 1500 with 1/2" studs.

The engine block needs to be drilled and tapped for them and then you might need to clean up the head bolt holes a touch.

For LS3 heads that Cam will be fairly aggressive. Stockish cathedrial port heads -no.

850rwhp would not be an issue. Only need 14-15lbs of boost to make that.

I've seen the work you guys do with LS3's, can you elaborate on this some more Slowhawk?

I'd like to pick your brain on LS3 cam selection.
