Default What can I replace the LM resonator with?

Hey fellaz,
I currently have the FLP LT package with their oryp. I then have the SLP LM catback. I am getting rid of the LM resonator because I want to go with something quieter. I am getting a 3" cutout to which I will be putting in the I-pipe.

My question is what can I replace the LM resonator with? I want to quiet it down alot. What mufflers will fit under there where the pipe is? I'm gonna keep the SLP tips and piping, I just wanted to weld a different muffler in where the resonator is.

Thanx for your help, opinions, and so forth.

Put in an 18" Dynomax Bullet. It looks similar to the resonator but makes a world of difference.

You can get the 18" on at Jegs for about $30...

I put the 12 in mine and it didn't help much at all, hope the 18 works better.

Yeah, the 18" makes a world of difference between the 12".

ok...I installed the cutout and replaced the SLP LM resonator with the 18" dynomax bullet. It was a big difference and sounds quite a bit quieter and no where near as raspy as the LM.

Thanx for the recommendation I am much happier

You can also try the Borla XR-1 muffler; it works better then the bullet but it costs more cash!
