Default Your opinion on the nicest wheels for a Camaro SS

I just bought a white 2001 Camaro SS, and Im wanting to slam it and throw some nice wheels on it. Im wanting to stay away from the $5k wheels. This is "supposed" to be a work car and I dont want to turn this car into another money pit. So, Im hoping some of you guys can chime in and give me your opinion on some really nice looking wheels.

Thanks in advanced,

Charlie

I know your not looking for expensive but Ive always like the Fikse FM5 on Camaros. But for cheaper wheels Ive always liked the C5 DD wheels. Check out oewheelsllc.com

In my opinion nicest factory style wheels would be chrome Z06

18x9.5 Front
18x10.5 Rear

I haven't seen anything I like better than my chrome
10-spokes, but those are getting hard to find in any
kind of decent shape.

I like the chrome 10 spoke on my Arctic White SS better than anything else I have seen.

New chrome (OEM RIM) 17 x9 are $295 each.

I've always thought ZR1 style wheels were the best looking besides Fikse FM5's. Here's a picture of my car with ZR1's from oewheels. The rears are 11" and they have a small lip.

Yeah, Ive got chrome 10 spokes on it now. And they are in PERFECT condition. Im selling them with pretty much brand new Nitto Extreme 555 tires. I want to lower the car and Id like to do a 18 and 19" combo with a 315 tire out back.. Just worried about rubbing.

Default Wheels

The 02 SS LE wheels look good and they are VERY rare.

Well I'm a 10 spoke guy too, but given those two choices I'd say C6 Z06 for sure.

Larger wheel: C4 ZR1, C5 Z06
Smaller wheel: draglites, prostars, convo pros... or if you've got big $$$ RT-S's.

6 he said he doesnt wanna spend a ton of cash on wheels, im sure 18,19 weld rts will be way over what he is looking to spend, 17s are almost 500 a rim, op c5dd its not even an option, i have some pics of a members ride with machine faced ones, want me to post them

^ that's why I mentioed "if you've got big $$$" haha. Best wheels for the price, Weld Draglites/Prostars hands down. I'm hesitant to say IMO... too many people would consider that a fact.

The Racestars are even cheaper and I think they look better than the Weld Stars or Draglites

Hmm I don't know about that, you can get some 15x9 Draglites for like 220. You can find the same dimension Racestar Dragstars for 230 240ish. Not a big difference, but I'd rather go with Weld because of their Rep.
