Default Oil Pickup Tube Clearance

Putting together my LQ4 4" stroker and had to space out the LS2 windage tray to clear the rods. So the pickup has to be raised by that same amount. I've bent it as much as possible and the tube is up against the windage tray and the pickup is still basically on the floor of the pan. I don't see how I can get any more without cutting and re-welding the pickup which I "can" do but would prefer not to. Any advice?

I cut the bracket down a smidge on my pickup tube and then welded it back together. Worked out good for me.

I used some play-dough to get a better measurement and the pickup was actually right where it needed to be (~.300") after I tweaked the end of the pickup to be the same distance from the pan all the way around. So all I did was hog out the hole the pickup attaches to the tray to and make the shoulder on the bolt smaller so the stand off could slide away from the pickup and lower it.
