Default A-body clutch master cylinder intall??

does anybody have any build threads, on intalling one of these things, i ordered the hydramax hydraulic clutch kit. as of now i have an automatic, im looking in the general area of where it would go and i dont see any holes or dimples. it looks like there would be no space and its pretty intimidating.. this is on a 72 chevelle

I don't know the hydramax clutch kit but I used a factory ls1 camaro master when I did mine. I used a bracket to hold it at the right angle and used it as a template of where to drill my hole. It was below the brake booster and slightly toward the drivers side of the car. If the master cylinder you have doesn't have a bracket then you need to get your clutch pedal mounted figure out how to mout you master cylinder so it is a straight shot from the pedal and drill a hole thru the firewall. Hope that made some kinda sense.
