Default Got my procharged camaro tuned!

Car is a 99 z28 m6 with 9 inch rear. It has a custom blower cam, fast 90/90, 1 7/8" headers into true duals. It has a D1 procharger with truck hat, front mount and 4.25 blower pully with 8 rib setup. with 14 degrees of timing, peaking around 10-10.5 #'s and limiter set at 6000 it made 581/523 on a DYNOJET. I was pretty happy with those numbers to say the least. Yes, it had more in it but I want the motor to last a little haha

yes stock shortblock. Cam is 228/232 588/595 on 114

Hopefully it will hold fine. I got the limiter set at 6000 and we added a little fuel up top to be on the safe side so all should be good.

Thought you were gonna leave the MS4 in it????What did you do with the old cam??That is almost the exact cam im gonna run..Good numbers man.

I was going to but I just knew it wasnt right for the setup and it would have drove me nuts knowing it wasnt right. I was tired of driving in a big cam car also. This cam drive soooo much better. I gave the cam to my buddy that gave me had with the cam/procharger install.

pretty nice numbers. I wish mine made a little more torque... ive never made good torque....even as a cam car it made baby torque

but you have to agree, the tq you have now still makes those tires failry useless haha. and correct me if i am wrong, but you already run 315's on the back. so the 275 guys running 50lbs more tq.....it aint happening. they might as well be driving an ice skate.

hahaha yea i guess so. yes im running 315's. they are useless in this cold weather, but if its 60* they hook in 2nd pretty well. hopefully theyll hook a little better in 1st with the 3.89 gear thats coming with my rear 4.10's are just way too much.

I def need to make a video. Im hoping to get to the track with it soon. I put a 3.80 gear in it about 4 weeks ago and im glad I did. it pulls decent up until about 4500 then all hell breaks loose. Its like it has vtec or something . I have 315 nitto drag radials and it is useless in 1st, top of second once it hits about 4700 will spin quick (i need to get use to this to keep off the limiter haha) and 3rd will hook pretty much fully. I hope I can get a 6.xx pass out of it. With the cam only setup 4.11 and ms4 it went 7.6x at 94 with a crap 1.76 60 ft. Im making 178 more hp and 162 ftlb of tq so i should be good to go.

Ussually piedmont. I will make a trip to rockingham once I get the car right. Are you going to autofair again in the spring rob? Yes stock heads with valve springs of course.

Can you post up the dyno chart? Would love to see what the graph looks like. What RPM did you get to full boost?

Nice numbers! (Stock bottom end?)

It's a centrifugal blower it makes peak boost where he shifts
