Jet Hot Headers & Catted Y
Hi Everyone,
I bought my SS not too long ago and have been looking into headers for it lately. Kooks & QTPs are a bit more than I want to spend considering I'd get very similar gains from Jet Hots for considerably less money. Anyway, I noticed that the Jet Hot catted Y pipe has flat spots pressed into it for clearence. Is this an issue with exhaust flow or is it something I shouldn't worry about? Based on dyno sheets I've seen posted, I don't think it is, but if I'm going to spend a bunch of money I might as well do it right the first time.
Second question: Has anyone had trouble passing e-check with this header and y-pipe combo? I live in Cincinnati and I'm not sure how tough they are on any type of visual inspections.
I have used the search feature, but I didn't find anything directly related to this question.
Thanks,
Jason
