Default Blown 5.0 vs Modified GT500/C5Z06/Chally(vid)

LAst night at the track got a chance to run a C5Z with nothing but cat back exhuast and tune. I got major sideways got out of it and back in and still spanked him. You will see in video.

2010 Challenger R/T at track also. He had exhaust cutouts and said he was spraying 125 shot. He would never pop his hood to even cool down. So don't know if he was just being cool or what. But he got his *** spanked by me and a LT1 383 Fbody running a procharger on 12lbs boost. I tried run the Fbody but he blew it up at the track. Z06 was his also.

Next at the mustang cruise today is a 09 GT500 with stage 3 ported blower, 2.5 pulley(18lbs boost), exhaust, DR's. All runs was from 50-125/130 minus 2nd we tried a 35 roll. I don't think I did to bad even though I lost. He was very suprised by how well I did. He even offered to give me rematch when I get stall and tune for E85. He said he had it street tuned and never on dyno or track. But said it should be close to 700whp. I am arbout 645whp right now. 2nd race i tried shifting to 1st to start in higher rpms. It stayed in 2nd even thought 1st was selected and I redline when thought was shifting in 2nd..it needed to be switched to 3rd.

Video's will be up soon as loads to youtube.

the track runs don't count, 'cause they weren't on the street.

They are on the same tires I run on every day 24/7. My DR's are my street tires and they are DOT approved. TRY AGAIN.

So how are they not street tires? They are got legal and are on 18" rims and I drive them every day. I don't want to be like all the guys that run one set up at track and totally different on the street. Don't want somne one rolling on me and have t o be liek hold on let me go put my drag set up on. Race it liek you drive it every day. Oh wait you don't even do that. You swap rims also.

I ran a 12.3@127 with a 2.2 60ft. You will see in video. C5Z ran a 13.4@114

I tried line up with a c/h LS2 C6 but he left after 2 passes. He was running 13.1 on DR's. The vettes had a bad showing last night at the track.

Yep I do swap rims. But the last time I ran it on my 18's it ran a 11.52.....not even on a dr.

I dd it on both sets of wheels.

By the way, what kept you out of the 10's this time. I figured you would be there after you reworked your tune.

Track prep sucked this weekend. Best 60ft all night was 1.98. And last week was after reworked tune I went 10.91@129.6. On old tuned best was 11.30@128.8. Stall will be here next friday. So soon get back from FL/GA I will be getting it in.
