OK I've been thinking about this for a while now and I'd like to see any options. I got a 96 ss its mostly stock A4 the mods done to the car are.
2800 stall
Lower control arms
3 point sfc
Pan hard bar
I put the bilistens with ebock springs
(Basically the slp set up stage 2)
Torque bar
Lt/pry
The cars options were slp exhaust and floor mats. I still have the rest of the exhaust cat back on the car still duel out on left.
So I was going to either rebuild the original motor nothing crazy or should I rebuild another motor and put the original motor away for future rebuild to mostly stock. Reason I'm asking is these cars are not rear now but I'm thinking maybe some day. On researching my car I found its 1 of 35 built this way.

96 and 97ss are kind of rare but the value isn't going to go up significantly if any. Mod it.

If it has crazy low miles on it I wouldn't touch it

i have to agree with all the above comments, if it is very low in miles, i wouldn't do that much to it either...but if the miles are higher then mod it...and as your comments suggest, it has already been somewhat modded, 2800 stall and suspension pieces, it's not stock any longer...me, i guess a few mods would be nice...that is a beautiful SS, and i love the LT1's...i own a '95 Z...so i'm partial...lololol...good luck in whatever you decide...
