Default Intermittent Crank no start.

2002 T/A cranks but wont start leave the key in the on position for 30min try an crank car starts just fine like nothings wrong.

try your ignition relay...mines done that a few times

you can swap it with a fan relay to see if thats the problem

sounds like a security problem. i know pontiac grand ams had a huge issue with security setting, you had to let the car sit for atleast 20 minutes and then it would start. i would look to see if you can find anything like that in these cars. i know to do the cheap fix in the grand ams what just cut a small yellow wire and it would never happen again the security light would always be on though.

had that problem b4 and it was the ignition relay..few years go by and it happens again..so i replaced the ignition relay.well this time it was starter relay....that was 3 years ago and no problems since

Did you check fuel pressure? Might not be priming. Will it start if you turn the key off and on to cycle the pump a couple times?

Any codes? Could be crank position sensor or the wiring shorting on headers or exhaust. Usually the tach won't flutter or move during cranking if this is it.

Well turns out it was a melted wiring harness!
