Default crossover / merge pipe

Is a 2'' crossover to small for a 5.3 with 317 heads? Im running a pt76gts and flipped manifolds. I'm not looking to rev it past 6500. Im looking to keep the speed up all the way to the turbine. I think 2" would work but maybe 2.25" would be better. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for the replies. Anybody ever try this? It seems like the norm is 2.5" on everything. I have been doing alot of searching and reading on this. It seems like lots of people talk about using 2'' and 2.25''. I only see a few guys running 2.25" , most use 2.5'', never see 2". I think it will be awsome, quick spool and as long as it holds out to 6500 I will be running 9's. If "phill99vette" is out there I would like to see what he thinks. I learned a ton of stuff from his posts.
