This is Build #0001 2000 Camaro with a 6 speed manual transmission. It is Black with tan interior. This car has QTP headers and off road y-pipe with SLP Dual Dual catback, QTP Electric cutout, LS6 intake manifold, Stage II Tick Performance T-56 and Tick Performance clutch master cylinder with and LS7 Clutch ( less than 2K on), BMR boxed subframe connectors. I have owned this car since it had 12K on it and I have all of the factory parts that go with the car. The top has some of those bubbles starting, and the Hood and Spoiler paint quality is not what the rest of the car is thanks to SLP. It still has amazing paint other than that. Just looking for feed back. I have posted it on craigslist but I want to make sure im close. I havent seen another #0001 car 96-02 on here.

I have to be honest and say that I don't think your car will have much of an additional 'premium' over a regular low mileage 2000 SS. Maybe someone would love that car being #1 but would they pay an extra $1,000 or $2,000 for that?? Usually higher 'premiums' are paid for such cars with ultra low mileage, like under 10,000 miles. The mods do not help either but you said you could put the car back to stock if needed. Definitely try get top $$ but if no contacts or calls, then obviously the demand is not there and you can lower the price accordingly. GLWS!!

Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking I needed at the least 12,500. So now I just dont know. If someone wanted it back stock, it is a California Emissions car but that probably means nothing.

Thats what I had thought, there isn't another #1 car on the Super Sport threads. Even the Fbodfather looked my VIN up back in 2006. I just cant keep it and my other car anymore, my family cant really use this car like the other. This is pretty hard to do, I have had the car for several years.

Build #1, your thinking is quite correct but not right now, not with that mileage. 10-15 years from now that 37,000 miles will seem really low and a 'premium' would most likely be paid for it being #1 off the line. Finding a buyer now to give you big $$ just is unrealistic unless you can find a buyer that collects these #1 cars and puts them away. It could happen. You will never know unless you try. STOCK is also key here. Many collectors stop reading the ad once it says 'mods'.

I totally agree NC01TA, I wish that I didnt even have to sell it. I will be sick for a very long time after it is gone. I have had a Camaro in my possesion since I was 15 and I am 31 now, it just makes me sick.........and for the record...lol....its car number 18 off the line but SS 0001 of the year. Haha

I'm sorry you have to sell it. It is a tough ordeal but finances seem to rule the day. I just went through your feelings when I had to sell my '95 911 recently. Maintenance and upkeep just became too much of a financial burden and worry. Just could't enjoy the ride anymore. Best of luck to you and I hope you find that one certain buyer.

Thats exactly my case. Upkeep and worry. My 5th gear had a problem so I had to spend on the trans, its just to expensive anymore for what I wanted to do.
