I have an issue with Texas Speed. Has anyone else had these issues?

Twice I have put in orders and both time orders were delayed.

order one - Call, they have parts, I order and was told they shipped. Start tearing down motor to be ready for package next day. Package shows up. partial order. I call and "oh, we have to do so and so to this part it will ship today" normally ok. but this was on friday. so now my motor had to sit all weekend waiting on said part.

order two - Order some more parts. Again, call, they have parts. Order parts. parts supposed to show up. UPS drives right on by. that was weird. Call them up and "hmmm that is odd, this order should have went out. It will be going out today"

Delays and mistakes are a part of our industry. We all know that and have had it happen to us. I am not trying to split hairs here, but like many when I am working on something I am on a tight schedule. Just so happens in this instance I broke a motor and am having to scramble to get back up and running.

I am sorry for the delays in your orders. If you'd like to shoot me your name or order numbers I can check into them for you.

As a note, this is the busiest time of the year for the racing parts industry, and orders are shipped in the order they are received. The only exception to this is rush orders with Next Day Air shipping and the like.

I got the first order and the second should be here today.

Trust me I understand the parts industry and the fact that orders get delayed and such. Maybe I am being critical since I am in a crunch. did not mean to explode a motor lol.

My issue on this was I called to verify parts were in stock before I ordered. Just because I was in such a crunch. Told parts were in stock. Got a shipping notice with tracking number. Tracking number did not work. Called next day and my box was still there. No reason as to why it did not ship when it was supposed to.

Normally I am not this spun up, its just I popped the motor on my DD and I am on a crunch for time. I like you guys because I can get pretty much anything I need all from one shop.

I will add that I purchased a shortblock, so when this motor goes back in, I have a bare block to build a race motor out of.

and I like the fact you in Texas so my orders ship overnight which helps out a lot.

If you received that notice after 4pm Central time, it means the box was ready to go that day, but UPS had already picked up for the day and it was not leaving our place until that 2nd day. UPS picks up very early at our new location unfortunately, so anything ordered after 11-noon or so, will typically not leave that day. Again, sorry for the confusion...many times it'd be better off if we didn't send tracking so guys in your position don't see it and think it left one day, when in reality it's not picked up until the following.
