Default Need professional help!

Hey you guys out there, so my cousin has a 96' Camaro and she's been annoyed driving it because it makes a loud annoying sound by the tension and the alternator. Her wack mechanic said it was the alternator and she replaced it. But when he quote "fixed it" we drove it around w/o a problem for the first 15mins. And then the sound started going loud again. So if anyone out there knows whats the problem to this issue let me know...

DId the belt get replaced when they did the alternator?

She first thought it was the belt and she replaced it but still had the same issue

if its lt1.... my 96 ws6 started squeaking alot, sounded like the belt, but it was actually the harmonic balancer coming apart. remove the belt and check the balancer for play.
