Drag Racing Tech - sonoco extended lifting at top end

my extended sonoco vfn hood lifts in the middle on the top end, the hood goes right up against the windshield, does anyone else have this problem.

It's not an uncommon problem, the base of teh hood where it meets the windshied is a low pressure area and the air going thru the engine bay at speed, wants to get out as well.

Alot of people put a dzus in the center of the hood just for this reason. A small area for an air relief would also help let the air out of the engine bay some as well.

Hows the rest of the front end of your car, how low is it? You running the air dam, or wheel wheel liners? I noticed after taking mine out alot more air under the hood over 60 it would start to flap, I put the wheel wells back in, alot of that went away

I gaze at the hood every time during a run and at 130 it's really bad.
