Figured I would just share this with you guys, but I am currently up at my fiancee's grandmother's house in Wisconsin for spring break, and while digging around for a ski mask so my face wouldn't freeze off I found a very interesting poster. It was a red pace car trans am with I'm guessing the pontiac nascar cars that year below it (don't care for nascar). Turns out it is a 1993 Sam Bass print named "Pontiac Excitement", also turns out it is an artist proof with his signature on the piece like three times. I am not looking at this like $$$, I just love the fact that it is a very nice Trans Am poster :D that turns out to be pretty rare, which is also in a very nice frame and mint. If you guys know any more about this I would love to know.

It's a Sam Bass print from 1994 from what I could find (although you have 1993 on the piece you have which I'd believe more). I can see that he signed the artwork with '94 though. However, that could have been done to signify what year it was first available for sale rather than when he actually did the original artwork. One of his better ones since he didn't have a portrait in it. To me, he never was good at portraits.

Found a few for sale:

I saw where one sold for $15.00 :) However, that was just a poster print. The signed proof you have would be worth more. Not sure how much though. Art prints are a tough market. That's why I really never have gotten in to that part of automotive art. I'd rather continue with the one-off personalized pieces. Makes them more special to the my client to know they've got the only one like it.

Yeah. Can't beat snowmobiling and making snow men considering nc got like a flake of snow. Also the cheese *drool*. It is different than the 94 that you posted. Type 93 pontiac excitement and a pic should pop up of the one I found.

Where are you snowmobiling in the state???? It seems we usually get more snow in one storm than we have all of this year :jest:
