Corvette Performance - Borla xr1 or stinger? C5 FRC

Hey guys!

Just recently switched to cars from building diesel trucks for awhile.

I used to have a 1998 Camaro SS M6 car with Longtubes, TSP 3in duals with bullets dumped at the axle. I loved the way it sounded and I am looking for something similar out of my 1999 Vette FRC.

The car currently has the following mods:

LG Pro Longtubes
3in catless stainless Xpipe (I am guessing LG as well)
Stock c5 catback(mufflers and tips)

It says it has the Borla xr1 exhaust (among the rest of the mods) and I was wondering if this is the straight pipe or does it have some sort of muffler like the stinger kit?

The exhaust note does not seem crackly, or raspy. It almost sounds exotic to me.

So that being said, what exhaust is that, and recommendations who to order from?

The XR1 is a bullet style muffler (resonator)

I had an XR1 on an otherwise stock exhaust, then switched to GHL when I installed LG LTs and X pipe. There's a couple issues with an XR1 with LTs - mainly they basically eliminate 75% of your x pipe as the muffler is right after the crossover, IIRC and I've read they drone like crazy.

Here's my current set-up. Absolutely zero drone and IMO it's the perfect exhaust with LTs.
